Application areas
(5)Construction sites may be at risk when it comes to silica, wood or other types of dust.
Dust from cutting, drilling and grinding concrete, brick and similar building materials contains crystalline silica.
Air cleaners are perfect for large public spaces such as airports, concert halls and public events.
Manage dust using high-quality professional equipment with a HEPA H13 or H14 filter and personal protective equipment.
Handling hazardous materials is regulated and requires rigorous safety measures.
Protect yourself from dust
Construction sites are prone to dust from activities like drilling, cutting and grinding. This dust may contain crystalline silica, a hazardous substance that has been referred to as āthe biggest risk to construction workers after asbestos.ā*

Invisible to the human eye
Small (respirable) particles of crystalline silica can penetrate deep into the lungs.* They are so small (0.1ā5.0 Ī¼m) that they might hover in the air for hours, invisible to the naked eye.
This is why itās important to use work methods that catch dust at the source and prevent it from becoming airborne. To handle dust effectively, use high-quality professional dust control equipment with a HEPA H13 or H14 filter and personal protective equipment.
Facts about dust

New-generation air cleaners
Husqvarna's latest range of air cleaners is developed with a new level of intelligence and mobility compared with the previous generation. Based on a standard roof height of 2.5 m and an air exchange rate of 10 times per hour,* the A 45 is recommended for spaces up to 45 m2 in size and the A 25 up to 25 m2 in size. Multiple units can be combined as necessary for optimal air cleaning of larger spaces.
All machines feature a colour-coded LED bar that is visible from a distance and clearly indicates the filter status. The compact and stackable design is beneficial not only for maintenance but also for transportation and handling. The units can be used as both air cleaners and negative air machines. Two-stage filtering captures silica dust and dust from wood, metal, gypsum, and other materials. Optional active carbon and HEPA 14 filters are available.
Use our calculator to choose the correct air cleaner setup for your specific room or location.
*According to AMV, the Swedish Work Environment Authority, an air exchange rate of 10 times per hour is recommended to sustain a safe working environment. Source: https://www.av.se

Colourful filter alerts
The multicoloured LED bar provides a straightforward indication of filter status, making it easy to monitor machine status from a distance. All models feature a sound alarm, and a red flashing light indicates when the pre-filter or filter needs to be changed.
Using light combined with sound to show status ensures that everyone nearby can easily see that the machine is running and if the filter needs to be changed. Moreover, it facilitates proactive maintenance planning to minimise downtime.
The machine can be extended to 3-stage filtering with the optional active carbon filter, which helps remove contaminants like odours, gases, and chemicals from the air.

Multiple fan speeds
The A 45 features three fan speeds for different noise-level and filtration needs. The machineās lowest fan speed is its quietest, at 50 dB. The standard and full-flow fan speeds create a higher air exchange for faster air cleaning.

Made to move
The low weight, together with the smart and robust design, makes the air cleaners easy to handle, carry and store for transport. The innovative and stackable construction provides versatility for placement.

Manage dust with negative air pressure
Negative air pressure is important for managing dust because it helps reduce the spread of hazardous particles.
To create negative air pressure, the room needs to be sealed and airtight so that air can be channelled through one outlet. Husqvarnaās air cleaners can be positioned inside or outside the containment.
Using the optional air inlet or outlet accessory, different kinds of negative air cleaning set-ups are possible. A LongopacĀ® bag of the desired length can also be attached to the outlet to easily direct the clean air to another space or environment.
