A complete solution for efficient dust management

Inadequate dust extraction can cause dust to accumulate in tools, reducing efficiency and necessitating extra maintenance. Failing to manage dust at the source means time is wasted on additional dust removal, further decreasing efficiency.

Dust particles hovering in the air at construction sites contain several different substances. Some of these, such as crystalline silica, can be harmful or irritating if inhaled.

These respirable particles can penetrate deep into the lungs and may cause serious injuries. They are so small that they might hover in the air for days, invisible to the naked eye.

This is why it’s important to use work methods that catch dust at the source and prevent it from becoming airborne. To handle dust effectively, use high-quality professional dust control equipment and personal protective equipment that can filter even the smallest silica particles.

The respirable dust particles of crystalline silica are so small (0.1–5.0 μm) that equipment with a HEPA H13 or H14 filter is required in addition to the pre-filter.

Capture dry dust at the source

The most efficient way to capture dust is at the source. That’s why Husqvarna dust equipment integrates easily with our cutting, drilling, sawing, blasting and grinding equipment. Our complete system enables you to handle your dust more efficiently, regardless of application.

To ensure efficient dry dust management, Husqvarna’s tailor-made accessories, such as adapters, anti-static hoses, floor tools and Longopac® bags, create an almost sealed system that captures dust and directs it into the dust bag. This ensures that dry dust is effectively managed from start to finish.

Pre-separators capture the heaviest debris

Pre-separators are great supplements to your Husqvarna dust extractor for jobs that produce large amounts of dust, such as grinding large floor areas and removing thick coverings.

A pre-separator increases the dust extractor’s capacity, protects the motor and reduces filter maintenance, allowing you to work longer without interruption. Up to 90% of the vacuumed material is separated before it reaches the dust extractor.

Capture airborne dust

Dust can be very fine and easily spread to the surrounding air. These tiny particles can come from many materials such as gypsum, concrete and wood. To prevent inhalation, it’s crucial to filter these particles from the air.

One of the best ways to handle fine dust is to combine your dust extractor with a high-quality air cleaner featuring HEPA H13 or H14 filters to catch the smallest particles. Personal protective equipment should be worn at all times when there might be a risk of dust.

Efficient wet and slurry management

Husqvarna W-Line of wet and slurry vacuums is designed for the most challenging jobs. Where most wet vacuums only handle water, the W-Line can manage liquids such as concrete slurry, oils and machining coolants.

High-quality stainless steel components, large-volume containers, reliable overfill shut-off, and high-capacity pump motors contribute to efficient slurry management.

The renowned quality, durability, efficiency and long, trouble-free service life have earned the W-Line the status of a modern classic.
